The 72nd Independence Day of our Nation was celebrated on the 15th of August with great enthusiasm and devotion! The Chief of the occasion was Mr.Vedhanayanam Pillai, a retired School teacher from St.Joseph’s HSS, Susaigiri who is on a voluntary service in our School. A special assembly was organized by our NCC Cadets, Scouts & Guides which recaptured the spirit of patriotism. After hoisting the National Flag, the Chief Guest was accorded a rousing welcome by the School Community. The Chief Guest, in his address, pointed out that by celebrating this event, we tribute our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country. He also urged the students to love our country and make it a better place to live and experience true freedom, peace and unity in diversity. After the common celebration, various sporting activities and events were conducted for the students.
